What materials do you use in your jewelry?

Our jewels are handmade in Portugal using 925 sterling silver, gold-plated silver, and 19.2K Portuguese gold. Every piece is certified and hallmarked by the official Contrastaria Portuguesa. Know more about the materials we use here.

Are your jewels authentic Portuguese filigree?

Yes! Each jewel is handmade by skilled artisans in Portugal using centuries-old filigree techniques.

Are your pieces sustainable?

We use recycled silver and gold whenever possible, and all production is done by hand in small batches, minimizing waste and supporting sustainable craftsmanship.

Are two pieces ever identical?

No. Because every jewel is handcrafted, slight variations make each piece unique.

Do your products tarnish?

All silver naturally oxidizes over time, but with proper care and cleaning, your jewelry will maintain its beauty. Gold-plated jewelry may require replating after extended use, which we provide as a service.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes, we ship globally. All shipments (to the US) are under Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), meaning taxes and duties are included — no hidden fees. Know more about our shipping policy here.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is free on orders over $150 USD. For smaller orders, fees vary by region and are shown at checkout.

How long will my order take to arrive?

USA & Canada: 4–10 business days. Europe: 2–4 business days. Rest of world: 5–15 business days. Production may add 1–2 days before dispatch.

Can I track my order?

Yes. You will receive a tracking number by email once your order ships.

Can I change my shipping address after ordering?

Please contact hi@fadojewels.com as soon as possible. We can only update addresses before the order is shipped.
